Known bug: If you can't upload your score send us a screenshot of your victory screen and we will upload your score manually. Thanks!

The First Bloom is a 2D idle clicker game based on a short gameplay experience with serene atmosphere and tranquil aesthetics. It was made within 4 days for the Godot Wild Jam #79 - Theme "Grow"

Once a flourishing paradise of flora and fauna, Nyhilus was considered the green kingdom. However, a devastating event triggered a seemingly endless sea of flames which swallowed up even the last seedling of this former domain of nature. Many years have passed since then and the birth of a new seedling - the first bloom - is imminent, but it needs help to grow. By clicking on it, you'll earn growth points. The more of these points you have earned, the more upgrades you can buy! These will help you grow the forest back to its former glory by taking over tasks and enhancing your clicking effects.

Sad that I cant share times...

I’m very sorry to hear that. Personally, I didn’t encounter this bug in development so I couldn’t troubleshoot it… Sometimes, the score gets submitted but it doesn’t load the next screen, so maybe your score still shows up in the main menu. Let me know if your score is there. If not, we can post it manually. The name’s “Draya”, correct?

This is beautiful, simple, and well-conceived. A joy to play, though I wish I had Starcraft-level clicking APM to max it faster. Well done!

This looks and sounds amazing for only having 9 days to work on it!

Hi, thank you.
We just recently completed another jam, so we had less time than usual. We started on Thursday, so we only had 4 days, but we put a lot of hours into the game.

Everything art related is 100% handdrawn and made exclusive for this jam/game.

Music and SFX are assets though we just choose them.

All asset-links are provided ingame in the credits menu.

Dam same on the time-front, and yours looks so much better lol. Maybe take a break before you go into another jam too, I can't imagine going into another one for at least a month!
